Visit to Morton Manor - June 16th

Jun 20
1 min read

Some 40 people turned up for our visit to Morton Manor.  Sally did a great job dishing out cake with the owners serving tea in pretty china cups.  Roses beautiful, landscaped grounds, large pond with flock of Canada Geese.

One of the finest gardens in the south of England, Morton Manor Gardens are set about a lovely Tudor manor. This colourful garden offers a delightful variety of plants in a relatively small space. An abundance of mature trees creates a wide variety of colour.  Early shrubs give way to hydrangeas, hibiscus, and perennial species later in the year. Wide lawns lead to quiet pools, and there is a rose terrace for sunny summer days.
